Sales Soar, Mitsubishi Fuso Genjot Post-sale Service

The commercial vehicle market in the first four months of the year is on the rise. During January - April 2018, all brands of commercial vehicles totaled 36,844 units, an increase of 30 percent over the same period last year.

The Light Duty Truck (LDT) segment contributed the largest with 24,515 units. Mitsubishi's product, Colt Diesel, dominates 60 percent of the market with sales record of 14,740 units. This growth pushed the total sales of Mitsubishi Fuso in the first four months of this year to 16,721 units or 45.5 percent market share.
Duljatmono, director of sales and marketing at PT Krama Yudha Tiga Berlian Motors (KTB), the official distributor of Mitsubishi Fuso vehicles in Indonesia, said, "This increase is due to the economic growth and incessant infrastructure development."
According to Mitsubishi Fuso, the oil palm plantation and infrastructure sectors are the main drivers. This can be seen from the significant increase in sales in the Medium Duty Truck (MDT) segment. In the first four months of this year, the segment of MDT sold 9,500 units of trucks of which 1,922 units are Fuso branded. That's because this type of truck is used to transport building materials.
Driven by economic growth and high demand, Duljatmono said that his party is now preparing new products in the segment of MDT. He said the process is being managed and is expected to be coming soon in Indonesia in the near future.

Runner Telematics

In addition to busy preparing new products, KTB also strengthens the post-sale service in Mitsubishi's extensive dealer network. Due to the growing demand for vehicles, then after-sales service needs to be improved. Hence Mitsubishi Fuso at Gaikindo Indonesia International Commercial Vehicle Expo (GIICOMVEC) 2018, introduced the Telematics Runner service.
Runner Telematics, a program that can simplify consumer operational vehicle management. Since its introduction to date, Runner Telematics reached 6,795 users. KTB targets the activation of Runner Telematics to increase, along with the socialization of this program to consumers.
In addition to Runner Telematics, Mitsubishi Fuso also added after-sales service during Ramadan by providing promo service and spare parts packages throughout Mitsubishi Fuso's dealer network. Owners of Mitsubishi Fuso commercial vehicles are entitled to a 20 percent discount on spare parts and a 10 percent discount on services. There is also free inspection for free on condition, just do the tune-up, clutch service or suspension.
