This is what to do when the phone is splashed with water

Water is like the main enemy for electronic goods, especially for mobile phones. Some phones are already utilizing the anti water feature, but the majority are very susceptible to water attacks.

1. Do not turn on the phone One of the things you should do when the phone is plunged into the water is by directly turning off your device. Do not try to turn it back on, because the components inside the phone have a flow of electricity through the battery. Electricity is not very friendly with water. If left live, then other components of your phone will slowly break down.

2. Open the entire phone cover

Next you have to open the entire cover of the phone such as jelly case or rear casing cover (for phones that still use non-plant batteries). Also remove the sim card and external memory card. If you have experience, please go to all parts of the phone so that water can dry faster.

But you must be careful when opening all components of the phone. If you do not know what you are doing, it can cause more harm than restore your phone to its original state.

3. Put your phone into rice

Rice has a high absorbency to water. Take enough rice into the container then input your wet cell phone into it then let stand for 24 hours. If after that your phone is still in trouble, immediately input back into the rice for the next 24 hours. Then your phone will work again.

4. Use Silica Gel

Silica Gel is well-known as a good moist absorbent. You can try to use this object in the same way as using rice.

5. Do not use a hair dryer or dry your phone under direct sunlight

This method may look instant and promising in the process of drying your phone. But you need to know, high temperatures can damage some components of your phone. This will actually make your phone problematic in the future.
